April Market Weekend
Bowhouse is looking forward to Easter with its April Market Weekend which will be a celebration of Scotland’s fish and shellfish, on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th April.
The April market will also see the first pop-up demonstration auditorium featuring food demonstrations relating back to the seafood theme throughout the Saturday and Sunday of the market.
The market hall will be awash with Scotland’s best seafood, with produce from the local waters of the East Neuk as well as coasts further afield. Also dipping its toes into the water, charity partner Anstruther Improvements Association will be in attendance ahead of its Annual Duck Race which sees 1,000 rubber ducks take to Anstruther’s Dreel Burn.
April’s market will bring a mix of stalls from Scotland’s best food producers and independent artists, with the return of the craft section curated by Tea Green Events. Visitors will be able to fill their baskets with the finest smoked fish from Ritchie’s of Rothesay, craft beer from Perthshire microbrewery Dalrannoch Brewing Co., and pickles and ferments from Aye Pickled.
There will be street food vendors to enjoy on the day, with seed to plate dishes from Falkland Kitchen Farm, a taste if the Mediterranean from Moskito Spanish Bites and drinks from The Wee Gin Joint.
