We celebrated April and Easter with a weekend based around Seafood and all things sea related.
Cooking demos
We introduced our demonstration auditorium in April with demonstrations over both days from Ricthie’s of Rothesay and East Neuk Seaweed.
Ritcthie’s of Rothesay hosted ‘A Taste of Bute’ allowing the visitors of Bowhouse to taste some of their finest produce from their very own smokehouse on the Isle of Bute as well as demonstrating how they expertly hand cut their own smoked fish.
Jayson from East Neuk Seaweed showed that seaweed isn’t just an off cast of the sea but rather a versatile ingredient that can be used in many ways when cooking
Tea Green Events
Tea Green Events joined us at Bowhouse over the weekend and brought with them 40 different craft traders from across Scotland to showcase their talents and add a different shopping aspect into the market.

On Sunday we were joined by Coconut Groove, a female fronted 5 piece soul funk band which proved popular with everyone.
