Our March Market Weekend at Bowhouse was the first market for 2019 and we kicked off with a celebration of Spring and New Beginnings.
We were joined by Marie Curie who brightened the place up with a stunning display of daffodils to purchase as well as inviting people to plant their own, helping them raise vital funds for the charity. We also had a group of youngsters from Waid Academy taking part in the £5 challenge, they were given £5 for materials and had to turn this into a profit. The group set up a bean planting activity for children and showed the life cycle of a bean plant as well as the structure of the plant. All the profit they raised then went to Marie Curie!
